About Me 

My name is Mrs. Rusielewicz, but everyone calls me Mrs. R. I have been teaching art for 19 years, and I still get excited for the first day of school every single year. I love to draw, paint with watercolors, travel, and spend time with my family. My favorite part of being an art teacher is watching students grow in their creativity and discover their own artistic style!

What to Expect in Art Class

Students in Pre-K through 8th grade will have art once a week. I will be at Our Lady Queen of Apostles on Mondays and Fridays, ready to create with you!

This year, we will:

•  Draw, paint, and explore different art materials.

• ️ Learn about famous artists and their masterpieces.

•  Take art adventures into other cultures and countries.

•  Use imagination and self-expression to create one-of-a-kind artwork.
